iPad UK and Europe Pricing

Apple has announced the iPad will be available in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the UK on May 28th while pre-orders will open on May 10th.

Below are the pricing for iPad in UK and Europe.

£429 for 16GB for iPad Wi-Fi models
£499 for 32GB for iPad Wi-Fi models
£599 for 64GB for iPad Wi-Fi models

£529 for 16GB for iPad Wi-Fi + 3G models
£599 for 32GB for iPad Wi-Fi + 3G models
£699 for 64GB for iPad Wi-Fi + 3G models

€479 for 16GB for iPad Wi-Fi models
€579 for 32GB for iPad Wi-Fi models
€679 for 64GB for iPad Wi-Fi models

iPad 3G Available 30 April

Apple has released a PR stating the iPad WiFi and 3G version will be available in US on the 30th of April.

The suggested retail price of iPad 3G :
$629 for 16GB
$729 for 32GB
$829 for 64GB

AT&T are offering iPad data pre-paid plans.

Again, the international pricing for iPad will be announced on May 10th.

Those in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the UK will be able to get the iPad at the end of May.

Apple iPhone 4G

Gizmodo might have gotten hold of a prototype of the latest Apple iPhone. They took apart the iPhone and are quite sure it is indeed the real iPhone based on the components inside.

There’s a front facing camera, a better back camera than the iPhone 3GS, better screen display and split buttons for volume. It also uses the micro SIM card instead of the standard SIM card.

Running a country using iPad

Well, that’s exactly what Norway’s Prime Minister did when he found himself stucked in New York due to the volcanic ash that has been keeping flights to and from Europe grounded.

A photograph of Jens Stoltenberg using the iPad was posted on the Internet by Norwegian officials under the title “The prime minister is working at the airport”.

Stoltenberg will catch a flight to Madrid and get back to Norway using a car.

Apple iPad International Pricing and Pre-Order

The pre-order for Apple iPad will be opened on May 10th and it is expected that Apple will announce the international pricing for iPad then.

For the 3g Version, Vodafone Group will reveal its iPad price plans from the end of May in Australia, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the Britain whilst Orange would offer plans in France, Britain, Spain and Switzerland.

In UK, Vodafone, Orange and O2 will be offering the iPad and it is expected there will be pre-pay and contract options.

iPad International Launch Postponed

Bad news for those outside of US who can’t wait to get their hands on the Apple iPad. Apple has decided to postpone the international launch of iPad by 1 month to end of May instead of end of April initially. They stated they have been unable to keep up with the stronger than expected US demand. The 3G version of iPad is expected to launch in US at the end of April.

Well, there’s nothing much you can do except to wait till end of May.
