Apple unveils 3 new iPods in a special event on Wednesday. All the rumors floating around about a new iPod nano and an iPod with touchscreen was true after all although the new Nano (on the right of the pic) looks quite weird. But you can watch some videos on the new one which has a 2 inch screen. There will be two versions - 4 gigs and 8 gigs.

Apple has got new iPod classics (full metal design and thinner than the old ones) . A slightly thicker one will have 160 GB of storage space (that’s like bigger than my harddisk space!). The other one will have 80 GB of space.

Finally, there’s the iPod Touch (on the left of the pic). It looks exactly like the iPhone but it’s thinner than the iPhone. It’s only 8mm thin and it sports the same screen size as the iPhone. And the best part - it has wifi! Comes with a Safari Browser and you will be able to watch YouTube videos on it.

So basically, it’s an iPhone without the phone functions.

The prices of the new iPods :

iPod Nano 4GB $149
iPod Nano 8GB $199
iPod Classic 80GB $249
iPod Classic 160GB $349
iPod TOUCH 8GB $299
iPod TOUCH 16GB $399

They will be available worldwide, in a few weeks time.
