If you were to ask me whether I prefer to manage blogs or content based websites, I would say the latter, simply because it doesn’t have to be updated frequently. As for blogs, the readers are expecting you to update at least once a day, or in some popular bloggers’ case, as much as 3 per day. Blogs such as Directory Blog is updated frequently.
As for me, I only update when I have something to blog about or there are some newsworthy material to blog about. I don’t get how some people can update like 10 times a day. I mean do they really have so much to say?
Blogs are easier to promote, as bloggers are quite generous with links. They will usually link to other blogs that they find interesting on their blogrolls and some blogs will do some link exchanges with other blogs. Besides that, you can submit your blogs to blog directories.
