Facebook Ads was launched around a day ago. According to the press release, it’s an ad system that allows businesses to connect with and target a specific audience. This is a great addition to the facebook flyers I guess. I have never tried the flyers although I do intend do.
The biggest problem I forsee (with the flyers) is the fact that facebook users aren’t interested in ads. They login to facebook to check their wall, check out their friends’ latest updates or use the thousand of applications available. And from what I read, it seems like the flyers have a pretty horrible CTR. The good thing is, the flyers and the ads are very targeted.
Well, with facebook ads, you can create a facebook page and that will certainly boast your online presence. I’ll be trying out the flyers soon and I’ll post the results here.
