The MacBook Air / Thin is no longer a rumour.
The MacBook Air omes with a USB 2.0 port, a headphone jack, and a micro-DVI port that supports DVI, VGA, composite, and S-video output. But it doesn’t have a Firewire port and it lacks a built in CD/DVD ROM. There’s a built in I-Sight (webcam) and it has a 2gig RAM and 80gigs of hard drive.

Height: 0.16-0.76 inch (0.4-1.94 cm)
Width: 12.8 inches (32.5 cm)
Depth: 8.94 inches (22.7 cm)
Weight: 3.0 pounds (1.36 kg)
So yes, it’s that thin.
