HTC Touch Dual Review

HTC Touch Dual has been released both on the European and Asian market. Although this smart-phone wasn’t officially launched in the US, a follow-up model is already available.

This model delivers a revolutionary touch technology that will change the way you use your phone. This phone combines two elements that makes it very attractive to potential buyers. On one hand it has an intuitive touch screen and on the other it has a slide-out keypad within a stunning design.

This new model runs on Microsoft’s Windows Mobile 6 Professional. The firm considered that they needed a change, something new and modern and they included a new way of controlling touch-screen-based devices. HTC developed the TouchFLO technology. This allows the phone to recognize and respond to the sweep of a finger across the screen, allowing users to easily launch applications without a stylus.

You can access all kinds of technologies with just a press of a button. With one push of your thumb, the front panel of the device slides up revealing a handy smart-sized keyboard. If you rather touch, then the TouchFLO interface technology lets you quickly browse through e-mails, messages, music and images. To access all of this information you just have to use simple finger gestures. Taking into account this technology, handling this phone is very easy. Although it has many features, you can navigate and browse them very easily.

The Live HTC Home screen offers information such as time, new messages, weather updates, and missed calls at just one touch of the screen. The 3.5G connection, offered by this phone, is 9 times faster than 3G and experience the ultimate in Internet surfing wherever you are.

Live HTC Home features time and weather display, quick launcher, and one-touch ring tone settings. You will be getting also a two mega-pixel camera. It can be used for shooting photos/videos and together with a second camera that is meant for video calls.

This is a tri-band GSM phone with GPRS and EDGE technology. Unlike the earlier version of it, the Touch Duo has support for the European version of HSDPA. In addition it also has Bluetooth 2.0 but not WI-Fi. The phone includes 128 MB of RAM and 256 MB of ROM. The phone also has a slot for micro SD cards. This phone has a 2.0 mega-pixel camera on its back, plus a front-facing one for video conferencing.

Users across the entire world can use their 3G/HSDPA network for faster downloads and a richer multimedia experience. This will allow people to have a personalized phone, something many have been dreaming of for some time now. This complex and modern phone allows its owner to stay connected and access the people, information and entertainment that is made available for him. All you need is have the proper tool to gain access to all of this.
