Since Apple usually release a new version/model of their existing product yearly, the internet has been abuzz with news of a new iPhone model.
It has been referred to as the iPhone 4G and Apple is expected to make an announcement on it in June/July. Personally, I am waiting for this iPhone 4G to be released instead of getting the existing iPhone 3GS now.
I think Apple would probably upgrade the camera to a 5mp, not that the megapixels bother me much because as far as I am concerned, no mobile phone cameras will be able to beat my awesome n82’s 5mp camera with xenon flash (at least for now). Some are saying Apple will probably add a front camera so that users will finally be able to make video calls.
Reports are also saying there will be a new screen, possibly OLED screen, a new casing and a removable battery will be included. I think the removable battery part sounds pretty far fetched as currently, none of the iPods have removable battery. As for the OLED screen and a new version of their Apple iPhone OS, it seems quite possible.
I would be happy if the iPhone 4G comes with a 5mp camera, ability to make video calls, longer battery life and a OLED screen
