Bargaining in the Online world

I do some selling and buying in the webmaster forums’ marketplace. So far, I have sold lots of links and bought a few links and blog post.I bought like 4 sites from the marketplace before (recently bought another one couple of days ago).

When I PM (private message) potential buyers about my link offers, 5 out of 10 would reply with a counter offer. If they are buying multiple link spots, then I wouldn’t mind giving them some discounts. But if the buyer replies with some offers that are well below the market price ( based on PR for eg,) then I would be really pissed. I mean seriously, you want your link on 4 PR 4 sites for $15 monthy? I know some sellers sell their links cheap, but I’m not one of them.

And sometimes I get some unsolicited PMs regarding blog post or link offers.Like really, open a goddamn thread if you want to sell your stuff.I forward them to the moderators if I’m in a bad mood or if I get spammed by the same person twice, but most of the time, i just ignore it.

And another thing that gets on my nerve is people who keep asking for reps.Asking for itraders are fine, I will gladly give you one but reps? Argh.
