FIXING THE THEME COMPATIBILITY PROBLEM WITH INTERNET EXPLORER. - 19th Nov 2006

1.Open the css file and find the following piece of code:

.narrowcolumn

{

margin: 0px;

padding: 0px;

width: 498px;

text-align: left;

float: left;

}

2.Then, decrease the narrowcolumn width, for instance:

.narrowcolumn

{

margin: 0px;

padding: 0px;

width: 480px;

text-align: left;

float: left;

}

3. Search for this line of code in style.css

#commentform textarea

{

background-color: #212424;

border: 1px solid #626469;

color: #E1E1E1;

width: 450px;

padding: 2px;

}


4.Decrease the width to 400 or less than that.

{

background-color: #212424;

border: 1px solid #626469;

color: #E1E1E1;

width: 400px;

padding: 2px;

}

OR DOWNLOAD the STYLESHEET HERE and re-upload it again.

The header image was taken from here so please leave the credits in the Meta section if you want to use it.

Instructions :
Unzip the file and upload the asterik folder and everything inside it to /wp-content/themes.

Browse to Presentation in your wordpress admin panel and select the Asterik theme.

If you would like to remove the welcome section above the post , you can edit the Main Index template .

This theme has been tested on Wordpress version 1.5x and 2.0x.

    Hi Jimmy
    I like the theme, but I’m wondering why I can’t edit the templates, or why the changes I’ve made aren’t showing up on my site. For example, if I use a photo of my own and wish to remove the link from the Meta section, I take it off the sidebar.php file but it still remains after upload. Could you help me out on this please? Thanks.

    Oppdatert WordPress

    Wordpress er oppdatert til 2.0.5. Dette ble kunngjort i går, tydeligvis, men jeg er ikke alltid så rask. Uansett er det kjekt med oppdateringer og bugfixes. Den nye versjonen kan lastes ned på WordPress.org.
    Denne versjonen er oppkalt etter WordPres…
